Author Guidelines

ACADEMIA International Journal of Clinical & Translational Health (AIJCTH)

The ACADEMIA International Journal of Clinical & Translational Health (AIJCTH) welcomes submissions from researchers, clinicians, and practitioners engaged in advancing translational and clinical health sciences. As a hybrid open-access, peer-reviewed journal, AIJCTH publishes original research, case reports, reviews, commentaries, and short communications across the spectrum of applied medical and translational science.

All prospective authors must adhere to the following submission and formatting requirements.

???? General Submission Guidelines

  • Originality: Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Any prior dissemination (e.g., conference abstract, preprint) must be disclosed in “Comments to the Editor.”

  • Submission Portal: All submissions must be made via the AIJCTH official portal:

  • File Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (2016 or later). Include all components (text, tables, figures, references) in a single document.

  • Registration: Authors must register on the AIJCTH platform prior to submission.

  • URLs: Include active hyperlinks for all online sources and references where applicable.

???? Manuscript Formatting Requirements

Title and Author Details

  • Title: Centered, bold, UPPERCASE, Times New Roman, 16 pt.

  • Author Details: Centered under the title, Times New Roman, 12 pt. Include:

    • Full Name

    • Designation

    • Department, Institution, City, Country

    • Email Address

    • Corresponding Author: Indicate clearly and provide postal address, email, and phone number with country code.

Abstract

  • Max 200 words

  • Italicized, justified, Times New Roman, 12 pt.

  • Structure: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion

Keywords

  • 3 to 10 keywords, alphabetical order, separated by commas, ending with a period.

???? Manuscript Length and Layout

  • Word Count: 3,500–6,000 words (excluding abstract, references)

  • Paper Size: A4 (8.27” × 11.69”)

  • Margins: 1 inch all sides

  • Spacing: 1.5 line spacing, single column

  • Headers/Footers: 0.5-inch distance from edge

  • Headings: Use numbered headings (e.g., 1., 1.1., 1.1.1); do not number Abstract and References.

???? Tables, Figures, and Equations

  • Tables:

    • Embed within the text

    • Title above the table, bold, centered, 12 pt.

  • Figures:

    • Caption below the figure, same format as tables

    • Ensure high-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI)

  • Equations:

    • Use Equation Editor or properly formatted inline text

    • Match manuscript font and formatting

  • Use APA Style (latest edition)

  • List references alphabetically at the end

  • In-text citations must correspond exactly with reference list

  • No references in the abstract

  • Unpublished sources (e.g., personal communication) should appear only in-text

  • Include complete metadata and working URLs for online sources

???? Author Biographies

  • Provide a short biography (50–100 words) for each author

  • Must include academic background and research focus

  • Attach a passport-size photo of each author

  • A signed copyright agreement must be included

???? Funding Disclosure

  • Clearly acknowledge any grants, institutional funding, or donor support received for the research

  • Include in a separate section within the manuscript
