ACADEMIA International Journal of Clinical & Translational Health (AIJCTH)

The ACADEMIA International Journal of Clinical & Translational Health (AIJCTH) is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of ethical integrity, scientific rigor, and editorial transparency in the field of clinical and translational medicine. These editorial guidelines outline the responsibilities and expectations of authors, reviewers, and editors throughout the publication process.


1. Submission and Initial Evaluation

Scope and Relevance

Manuscripts must be original and within AIJCTH’s scope, which includes (but is not limited to): clinical research, translational medicine, biomedical science, diagnostics, therapeutics, public health, and global health initiatives. Authors are strongly encouraged to review the journal’s Aims & Scope before submission.

Plagiarism Screening

All submissions are subject to plagiarism checks using tools like Turnitin. AIJCTH enforces a strict policy—manuscripts with a similarity index over 10% may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.

Manuscript Formatting Requirements

Authors must follow the AIJCTH Author Guidelines, including the following elements:

  • Complete title and full author details

  • Abstract (structured, max 250 words) and 3–6 keywords

  • Standard sections (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)

  • References formatted in Vancouver Style

  • Ethical declarations and approvals (e.g., IRB approval)

  • Tables, figures, and funding acknowledgments

Licensing Terms

Published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license. This allows for redistribution with proper attribution but prohibits modifications and commercial use.


2. Peer Review Policy

Double-Blind Review Process

AIJCTH uses a double-blind peer review system where both author and reviewer identities remain anonymous. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent subject experts.

Reviewer Ethics and Selection

4. Ethical Standards and Responsibilities

Authorship Criteria

All authors must have made substantial contributions to the study. The corresponding author assumes full responsibility for the submission, integrity, and communication throughout the editorial process.

Conflicts of Interest

All participants in the editorial process (authors, reviewers, editors) must disclose any personal, institutional, or financial relationships that could influence the outcome.

Ethics and Consent

Studies involving human participants or sensitive data must include ethical clearance (e.g., IRB approval) and informed consent statements.


5. Post-Publication Policy

Corrections and Retractions

In cases of major errors, ethical breaches, or disputes, AIJCTH may:

  • Publish Erratum or Corrigendum notices

  • Retract the article with a full explanation

All corrections are archived and indexing partners are notified.

Digital Preservation

All published content is archived through secure digital repositories to ensure long-term accessibility and citation reliability.


6. Editorial Board Responsibilities
