Archiving Policy

Open Access Commitment

The ACADEMIA Health Sphere Journal (AHSJ) is committed to ensuring the global accessibility of high-quality research in health sciences, medicine, and public health. In line with open-access principles, all published articles are freely available online—without subscription or access fees—supporting academic equity, public knowledge, and unrestricted dissemination.

Open Archiving Policy

To guarantee the long-term preservation and discoverability of published research, AHSJ maintains an active and secure archiving strategy. All articles are archived in:

Institutional repositories (where available)

Subject-specific archives (e.g., medRxiv, PubMed Central, where applicable)

Digital preservation platforms, including:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)

These systems ensure that all AHSJ content remains permanently accessible, even in the event of system updates, platform migrations, or unexpected service interruptions.

Citation of the original source (AHSJ website) is required when using or sharing archived content.

Self-Archiving and Author Rights

AHSJ promotes green open access and encourages authors to self-archive their work in compliance with ethical publishing guidelines.

Versions allowed for self-archiving:

  • Preprint (original version before peer review)

  • Postprint (final peer-reviewed manuscript before formatting/publication)

  • Publisher’s PDF (official published version)

Approved archiving locations:

  • Author’s personal or institutional website

  • Institutional or subject repositories

  • Scholarly networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu, medRxiv)

No additional permission is required for self-archiving. Authors must provide a full citation and a direct link to the official version on the AHSJ website.
