Definitions Attributive Names, Cataphatic Paradigm, Shah Wali-Allah Muhammad Karam Shah Al-AzhariAbstract
This analytical study presents an exploration of the definitions and attributive names of the holy Quran as debated by the interpreters of the Subcontinent. Almost all the scholars of the Quranic Sciences focused on the concepts particularly on the names that are mentioned in the Quranic text as the names are ecclesiastically and theologically extremely inevitable in Islamic studies. By studying the interpretive literature of Shah Wali-Allah and both of his disciple school of thoughts; Deobandi and Brailvi, this study discovers the profound approaches and cataphatic paradigm that depicts the real objectives of the holy Quran. The purpose of the research is to highlight and adore the interpretative sagacity and depth of the greatest interpreter of the subcontinent and even greatest of his time; Justice Muhammad Karam Shah Al-Azhari. It infers into the formulation of the fact that the definitions and attributive names of the holy Quran are to beacon and endorse even the concept of Oneness of Allah Al-Mighty.
