This qualitative research paper will examine the influences of feminism, representation and society in contemporary literature. It discusses the ways of how modern literary texts are subjected to feminist ideology, discuss traditional gender roles, and add varied social identity. The paper dwells upon the role of literature as a social critique and transformation mechanism through providing a voice to the downtrodden groups of people, especially women. By using textual and thematic analysis of the chosen works of modern literature, the study demonstrates how fiction has been influenced by feminist attitudinal mode to the literatures and reshape themes, character development and construction, and narratives. The results imply that the current literary phenomenon is turning some more intersectional feminist. Modern literary works are more about gender inequality, identity politics, patriarchy, and cultural limitations. In addition, the paper highlights that literary representation is an important aspect of influencing social perceptions and fostering social awareness in the society. On the whole, this study finds out that the modern literature does not only reflect society, it actively tries to reinvent the gender standards and advance the feminist discourse.
