Author Guidelines

Academia International Research Journal (Multidisciplinary)

We welcome original submissions to Academia International Research Journal (Multidisciplinary) — a peer-reviewed, biannual journal committed to publishing high-quality research across a wide range of disciplines, including sciences, social sciences, humanities, and technology. Authors are kindly requested to carefully review and comply with the following submission and formatting instructions before submitting manuscripts.

General Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Any prior submission or publication must be fully disclosed in the “Comments to the Editor.”

  • All manuscripts must be submitted via the AIRJ online submission system:
    https://academia.edu.pk/index.php/AIRJ/

  • Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (2016 or later). All content—including text, tables, figures, and references—must be included within a single document file.

  • Authors must register on the AIRJ website before submitting.

  • Where applicable, provide active URLs for all online references.

Manuscript Formatting Requirements

Title and Author Information

  • Title: Bold, UPPERCASE, centered, Times New Roman, 16 pt.

  • Author Information: Centered below the title, Times New Roman, 12 pt., including:

    • Full Name

    • Affiliation (Department, Institution, City, Country)

    • Email Address

  • Corresponding Author: Clearly indicate with postal address, email, and phone number (including country and area code).

Abstract

  • A concise abstract of no more than 200 words.

  • Format: Italicized, justified, Times New Roman, 12 pt.

  • Content: Summarize purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.

Keywords

  • Provide 3 to 10 keywords in alphabetical order, separated by commas, ending with a period.

Word Count and Document Setup

  • Manuscript length: 3,500 to 6,000 words (excluding abstract and references). Longer submissions may be returned for trimming before peer review.

  • Paper Size: A4 (8.27” × 11.69”)

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Header/Footer: 0.5 inches from page edge

  • Spacing: 1.5 line spacing, single-column layout

  • Headings: Use numbered headings (e.g., 1., 1.1., 1.1.1.)

    • Note: Abstract and References sections should NOT be numbered.

Tables and Figures

  • Embed all tables and figures within the main document.

  • Tables: Place titles above the table, bold, 12 pt, centered.

  • Figures: Place captions below the figure, using the same style as table titles.

  • Ensure all images are high quality (minimum 300 DPI resolution).

Equations & Formulas

  • Mathematical expressions should use the manuscript’s main font style and formatting.

  • Use the equation editor or inline formatting as appropriate.

References

  • Follow the latest edition of APA Style for all citations and references.

  • List references alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

  • All in-text citations must correspond to the reference list entries (and vice versa).

  • No citations are allowed in the abstract.

  • Unpublished communications should appear only in-text.

  • For web-based sources, provide full URLs and bibliographic metadata (author, title, date).

Author Biographies

  • Submit a brief biography (50–100 words) for each author, highlighting academic background and research interests.

  • Include a passport-sized photo of each author.

Funding Disclosure

  • Clearly acknowledge any funding, sponsorship, or support received from institutions, grant agencies, or donors within the manuscript.
