Dawat-e-Islami and Its Services in the Field of Hadith: An Analytical Perspective

Abstract

Dawat-e-Islami is a global non-political organization of the Quran and Sunnah, which is engaged in the service of the pure religion in more than two hundred countries of the world. This organization has many departments. This research article examines the work of the departments established under Dawat-e-Islami related to Hadith. Among these departments, the services of Madinatul-Ilmiyah regarding Hadith are particularly noteworthy, which has been striving to disseminate Hadiths and provide easy explanations of Hadith since 2001. This research article analyzes various books and commentaries under this department, such as Faizan Riaz al-Salihin, Marat al-Munajih, Nazhat al-Qari, and Jame' al-Ahadith, etc. In addition, this research article has also conducted an analytical study of Dawat-e-Islami's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram), where Hadiths are shared daily in a calendar style with authentic chain of transmission. The Sharh Jame'e Tirmidhi and other books by the famous Mufti Hashim Khan of Dawat-e-Islami have also been reviewed, which is an important addition to the field of Hadith. This research article also describes the efforts of Dawat-e-Islami's IT department to provide Hadith and Dars-e-Nizami content on digital platforms through mobile applications and software, such as the Faizan Hadith application and other Islamic applications. Arbaeen, the Arbaeen of Maulana Ilyas Qadri, the founder of Dawat-e-Islami, Ameer-e-Ahle-Sunnah, is also an important means of disseminating hadiths, which provides easy-to-understand content for the public.The conclusion of this research article is that Dawat-e-Islami has not limited the teaching of Hadiths to books, but has made this knowledge public by keeping in mind modern technology and the needs of the people. These efforts are beneficial for everyone, both special and general, and are a commendable step for Islamic education and research.
