Abstract

Dr.Ijaz Ahmed Bhutta is a great modern sufi poet in Persian Literature. He wrote two poetry books in Punjabi Language i.e. (ونگیاں لیکاں)1988,(چلیے پتناں نوں)2006. Dr.Ijaz born in 4^thJune 1960 at Mandi Bahaudin. His book (چلیے پتناں نوں) published by “Angler Art Press” Lahore which contains 126 pages. In this research the researcher has complete analysis of this book and proved that it is very important in Punjabi Modern poetry due to classic and modern flavour.The article highlights the fundamental value of classical Punjabi poetry such as Ishaq Haqiqi, Ishaq Majazi, Consistency,Humility,Fear of God,Love of Murshad, praying of God, etc. with which Dr. Ijaz poetry is replete with.
