Author Guidelines

1. General Submission Guidelines

  • Originality: Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. If previously submitted to another journal, this must be disclosed in the "Comments to the Editor" section during submission.

  • Submission Portal: Manuscripts must be submitted via the official ATFJ online portal:
    ???? https://academia.edu.pk/index.php/atfj

  • File Format: Submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word (2016 or later) as a single document including all tables, figures, and images.

  • Registration: Authors must register on the journal platform to submit their work.

  • URL References: Include clickable, active URLs for web-based references where applicable.

2. Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

Title and Author Information

  • Title: Bold, UPPERCASE, centered, Times New Roman, 16 pt

  • Author Information (below title, centered, Times New Roman, 12 pt):

    • Full Name

    • Designation

    • Department, Institution, City, Country

    • Email Address

Corresponding Author
Clearly indicate the corresponding author with:

  • Postal Address

  • Email Address

  • Contact Number (including country/area code)

3. Abstract and Keywords

Abstract

  • Maximum 200 words

  • Italicized, justified, Times New Roman, 12 pt

  • Must summarize: background, objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions

Keywords

  • 3 to 10 keywords

  • Alphabetical order, comma-separated, ending with a period

4. Word Count and Page Layout

  • Length: 3,500 to 6,000 words

  • Layout:

    • A4 Paper

    • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

    • Line Spacing: 1.5

    • Text: Single-sided

    • Header/Footer: 0.5 inch from page edge

5. Sectioning

Use numbered headings and subheadings for structure:

Note: Abstract, References, Acknowledgments, and Appendices should remain unnumbered.

6. Tables, Figures, and Equations

  • Tables:

    • Title above the table

    • Bold, Times New Roman, 12 pt, centered

  • Figures:

    • Caption below the figure

    • Same font and style as tables

  • Equations:

    • Use manuscript font style

    • Number equations consistently if referenced in-text

7. References and Citations

  • Use the APA Style (latest edition) for both in-text citations and the reference list.

Reference List

  • Alphabetically listed at the end of the manuscript

  • Use hanging indent formatting

In-text Citations

  • All sources cited must appear in the reference list

  • No citations should appear in the abstract

Unpublished Work

  • Mention as “personal communication” in-text only; do not include in reference list

Web Sources

  • Include full URLs and publication metadata (author, title, date)

8. Author Biographies

Each author must provide:

  • A short biography (50–100 words)

  • A passport-sized photo

  • A signed Copyright Agreement Form

9. Funding and Acknowledgments

  • Disclose all sources of funding, grants, or institutional support

  • Mention:

    • Full name of the funding agency

    • Project title (if applicable)

    • Grant number

Manuscripts that do not comply with these submission guidelines may be returned without review. Adhering to these standards supports the efficiency of the review process and helps uphold the journal’s scholarly quality and technical clarity.
