This research study explores the relationship between transformational leadership and work life balance with employee productivity among academics and administrative employees in public university of Punjab in Pakistan with job satisfaction and transformational work motivation as mediators. The study fills the empirical void by validating a complete mediator model in the Pakistan higher education sector based on grounded and social exchange theory and self-determination theory. The researcher conducted the quantitative survey to 102 university Teachers in five namely Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Gujrat. The analysis technique used in this study was partial lease quiz structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with software Smart-PLS 4. The results of the measurement model showed sufficient reliability, convergent and discriminant validity for all constructs. A number of reviews have confirmed that there is a significant and positive relationship between finding a balance between work and life and transformational leadership and both job satisfaction and work motivation. However, of all factors job satisfaction did not exert any direct significant effect on employee productivity but only work motivation. Work motivation was identified as the main mediation construct while job satisfaction did not mediate either relationship. The study will give some guidelines to the university administration and higher education commission of Pakistan.
