Islam presents a comprehensive and integrated framework for human well-being in which hygiene and preventive healthcare occupy a central position. The Qur’an and Sunnah provide foundational principles of cleanliness, moderation in diet, bodily protection, environmental sanitation, and psychological balance that align closely with modern public health sciences. This study offers a detailed analytical examination of these principles through textual analysis of Qur’anic verses, authenticated Prophetic traditions, classical exegetical interpretations, and comparative references with contemporary medical science. The research highlights that Islamic teachings establish a preventive healthcare system rather than a purely curative model, emphasizing cleanliness (ṭahārah), dietary moderation, quarantine measures, and mental well-being as essential components of a holistic lifestyle. The findings demonstrate that Islamic health guidelines not only ensure physical well-being but also integrate spiritual and moral dimensions, thereby offering a complete framework for individual and collective health management.
