Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive roadmap for achieving sustainable economic stability in Pakistan, grounded in the moral and financial principles outlined in the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Economic challenges in Pakistan, including widespread poverty, income inequality, and financial mismanagement, have highlighted the urgent need for a framework that integrates ethical, social, and economic dimensions. Islamic teachings provide such a framework by emphasizing fair wealth distribution, the avoidance of interest (riba), the promotion of halal and productive earnings, and the systematic practice of zakat and voluntary charity (sadaqah). Prophet Muhammad ﷺ stressed that individual effort, honesty in work, responsible spending, and social justice are central to alleviating poverty and fostering societal cohesion. By adopting these principles, Pakistan can not only reduce poverty and financial disparity but also cultivate social trust, ethical responsibility, and economic resilience. This research argues that economic stability is inseparable from moral and communal values, illustrating that the path to financial security lies in harmonizing material progress with ethical and spiritual guidance.
