Article Processing Charges (APC)

Academia Journal of Global Social and Economic Studies (AJGSES) does not charge any submission fee, reflecting the journal’s commitment to accessibility and inclusivity for researchers worldwide. However, to maintain high academic standards and support sustainable publishing operations, a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

What Does the APC Cover?

The APC contributes to the following services:

  • Coordination and administration of double-blind peer review

  • Professional formatting, layout, and typesetting

  • Long-term digital archiving and DOI registration via CrossRef

  • Website hosting and platform maintenance

  • Global visibility and indexing across academic databases

  • Editorial management and technical support

APC for Authors in Pakistan

As Pakistan is classified as a lower-income country, authors affiliated with Pakistani institutions are required to pay:

PKR 30,000 (upon acceptance)

Waiver Policy

Authors who are Premium Members may apply for APC waivers.
Waivers are granted at the discretion of the editorial board and must be requested before or immediately after acceptance.

Important Notice on Withdrawal Policy

Authors are strongly discouraged from submitting manuscripts without a genuine intention to publish. Submissions intended only to obtain reviewer feedback or exploit the peer review process may result in disqualification from future submissions.

Authors should ensure that adequate funding is available before submission, especially when institutional or grant support will be used to cover the APC.
